The Clean Off-Road Equipment Voucher Incentive Project (CORE) is an incentive project that encourages California off-road equipment users to purchase or lease commercially available zero-emission off-road equipment. This voucher incentive project helps offset the higher upfront cost of zero-emission technology with a point-of-sale discount. There is no scrappage requirement and additional funding is available for charging and fueling infrastructure and small businesses. Demand for funding in CORE has been high, and the project has been oversubscribed each funding cycle since it first opened for voucher requests in 2020.
